Winter Program 2023 - 2024

December to March

The Momentum Northwest High School program is geared toward skiers who love to zoom! Winter practice includes many days on snow, as well as some dry-land practices, including running, trail running, hiking, and strength. When attending races and optional camps, skiers have the opportunity to travel to premiere ski destinations. Our skiers and ski families truly develop an appreciation of nordic skiing and the wonderful natural places we visit as a result.

The focus of the High School program is individual athlete development while encouraging athletes to race because we fundamentally believe in the magic that happens when kids find passion in sports.  Coaches work with athletes to establish goals and help them meet them by improving their technique, fitness, and race strategy.

2023-2024 Momentum Northwest Racing Schedule (including races recommended for high school)

High School program meets 4-5 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday plus the occasional Friday as a part of a weekend race). Practices on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday occur on snow, mostly at Snoqualmie Pass (van transportation is available). Practices on Tuesday are dryland practices in locations around the Seattle area.

WINTER Registration for High School Athletes opens on October 21. Registration Fee: $1400, scholarships available

We use Team Snap to manage attendance, workout location and details, and other important timely communication. Participants and parents need to add the Team Snap app to their device in order to be in the loop.
