The Fall Program will kickoff on September 9th & will consist of Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays. Many of our athletes are running XC with school teams & our Fall Program is meant to supplement the high school program.
Fall Training will consist of roller skiing, trail running, and strength work. The Fall Program Calendar is posted below on this page. Our fall program is open to youth age 12 and up. If you are not quite 12 and want to train in the fall, please contact us and decisions will be made at the coaches discretion.
Sat & Sun training will be in the morning and outside of Seattle. Van transportation will be provided and we anticipate one central meet up location for everyone. The team has a limited number of roller skis and roller skiing poles. If you are new to roller skiing we want to support you with use of our team equipment. We expect returning athletes to have their own equipment & we can help you get team pricing. If you have questions about equipment for roller skiing please contact us.
We encourage all athletes to participate as often as their schedule allows yet no less than 6 times per month. Not all athletes are focused on racing at a national level yet we know that the XC skiing experience at all levels is greatly enhanced (more fun!) with fall training. Our fall program get the kids out on terrific trails and working on essential skill development. The team will have a few epic hikes and roller skiing adventures that will not be forgotten. Fall Program starts September 9th and ends November 5th - 8 weeks, the participant fee is $800.
